What do you do in your current role at Medix?
“As a Recruiter for the Medix Clinical Research team, I get to speak with talented folks who are doing exciting things and help them find their next career opportunity.”
Describe your career path. How did you get to where you are today?
“While pursuing a career as a police officer, I was working in the private security industry for a large retail company in Seattle. When my wife and I found out we were having our first child, we decided to move back to Arizona to be close to family. During the job hunt, I was actually put in contact with Zeke – our Director of Clinical Research Recruitment – who sold me on recruiting. Once I met the team, I was all in!”
What is your favorite part of your job?
“My team! It’s a blast coming to work and grinding with them every day while keeping it fun.”
What’s your favorite work perk?
“I think the gym reimbursement is a nice perk!”
What advice would you give others who are looking to pursue a career at Medix?
“Staffing has its ups and downs, but if you keep putting in the work and stay consistent, you will be successful.”
Bonus Question: Cats or Dogs?
“Dogs, for sure. Our family has a Yorkie named Ruca!”
