(Chicago) November 18, 2015 – Medix, a national organization specialized in workforce solutions and recruiting skilled personnel for clients in Scientific, Healthcare and Information Technology industries, title sponsored Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors (JAH4WW) 2015 Helping Heroes Gala, an event helped raise record funds and awareness for nonprofit foundation led by five-time Pro Bowl defensive end, Jared Allen.
“Through ticket sales, sponsorships, a silent auction and a live auction, the 2015 Helping Heroes Gala raised more than $264,000, $60,000 more than last year and a new record for the gala,” said Andrew Limouris, President and CEO of Medix. “All proceeds from the Helping Heroes Gala are going directly toward building or remodeling mortgage-free, handicap accessible homes for two injured veterans and many more to come.”
The 2015 Helping Heroes gala was a masquerade-themed evening that was held on October 30 at the Lincolnshire Marriot Resort in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Along with the auction, Helping Heroes featured dinner, dueling pianos and speeches from Jared Allen, Major Mike Christensen and Sgt. 1st Class Cory Remsburg, a recipient of a remodeled home earlier this year.
“This year, we were excited to have two warriors who will soon be receiving remodeled homes as our guests of honor – Marine LCpl Jed Morgan and Marine Cpl Kyle Moser,” said Jared Allen. “Stories like these heroes’ are why I was motivated to launch JAH4WW to begin with, so having these warriors in attendance made the night even more memorable for everyone there.”
“Medix is excited to have been a part of such a successful night and a continued support of this impactful cause,” said Limouris. “Thank you, Helping Heroes supporters, for helping JAH4WW to positively impact the lives of our wounded heroes.”

About Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors
Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors is a non-profit organization created for the sole purpose of raising money to build or modify the homes of America’s injured military veterans. JAH4WW was established in October of 2009 after Jared Allen returned home from a trip to the US Military Bases in the Middle East.  Jared was moved by the commitment, dedication and sacrifices that our soldiers make every day to protect our freedom.  It is Jared’s hope that this foundation will help make the lives of wounded vets a little bit easier.
