CHICAGO–Andrew Limouris, a business leader and entrepreneur, shares his life lessons, business acumen and personal experiences as a youth football coach in his new book Won with Purpose. The book, now available on Amazon, shows that finding purpose and cultivating deeper meaning in life and work will ultimately help achieve business goals and drive success.

“Giving people a real purpose – something beyond financial gain – leads to great accomplishment, and improves a company’s bottom line in the process,” said Limouris. “Won with Purpose explains that by leveraging a new way of thinking and goal-setting, while aligning on fundamental purposes and core values, companies and teams can create a better business environment and, ultimately, a better world.”

In the book, Limouris describes that making a difference is part of his mission at the international staffing and workforce solutions company Medix, which he founded and serves as CEO. He believes that leading with purpose results in satisfied employees, increased revenue and unified teamwork. He’s delivered impressive results with his Medix team, and now helps other leaders and teammates find purpose, too.

“Medix’s growth and success were founded on our core purpose of positively impacting lives,” said Limouris. “We are more than a staffing firm; we’re an organization focused on corporate social responsibility, committed to formalizing our core purpose and making it part of Medix’s DNA. Core purpose is rooted in everything that Medix does, including how we operate the business, forge relationships, run our teams, and drive success. Now, I want to help inspire others to find their deeper purpose, and in doing so, find personal contentment and professional success.”

Limouris and his Medix team believe so strongly in cultivating this culture that they launched the company cause 20,000 Kids — which provides support and mentorship to shape children from grade school to college to empower them to be members of tomorrow’s workforce. As a part of this initiative, the company has partnered with organizations like Camp Hometown Heroes, a summer camp devoted to healing children who have lost a parent serving in the military. Medix has also launched a program to mentor 16 children from an orphanage in Sierra Leone in Africa.

Medix started forging relationships with organizations seven years ago, when the company partnered with Jared Allen, a retired NFL defensive lineman and founder of Jared Allen’s Home for Wounded Warriors (JAH4WW), a non-profit dedicated to rehabbing homes for wounded vets.

“I feel so fortunate for the support Andrew and his Medix team have extended to JAH4WW since we first started our organization,” said Allen. “It’s not every day we have the opportunity to join forces with a corporation whose values match so strongly with what we are trying to do with our foundation.”

Won with Purpose details how Limouris and his team’s dedication to giving back has helped them become one of the largest staffing firms in the U.S. In addition, this commitment has led Limouris to recently be named the 2017 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Midwest in Technology and Talent Services.

The first month of proceeds from Won with Purpose will be directed to the CHASE Your Dreams program at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago — a six-week summer internship dedicated to helping give healthcare learning opportunities to high school students from nearly 30 underserved Chicago public high schools.
