This August, Medix announced that two of its divisions, Medix IT and Alidade Group, had merged together to form one entity – Medix Technology. Under this new name, the combined team remains committed to its strong focus on strategic consulting and technology solutions, while growing into more disciplines and skill sets across the technology recruiting landscape.

What does Alidade Group becoming Medix Technology mean to you?

“We are excited to join forces with the Medix IT team. Together, we are able to offer a more complete portfolio of solution offerings by expanding our successful Epic EHR capabilities with IT digital transformation expertise. Now, we can offer a one-stop resource for all IT needs.”

What can clients and talent expect from Medix Technology moving forward?

“First and foremost, nothing is changing with our current Epic EHR solution portfolio. We continue to engage with organizations no matter where they are at on the Epic journey.  Secondly, we are now able to help with other strategic initiatives across the IT spectrum.”

What do you think is the most pressing issue teams are facing when it comes to Epic projects in 2020 and beyond? 

“The question healthcare IT teams are facing now is: How do we do more with less, while still positively impacting the quality of care for patients? We are talking to customers every day about transforming their EHR in ways that better serve the clinicians who are providing care, as well as increasing the patients’ experience at the same time.”

What are you and your team most excited about right now?

In addition to our most trusted service offerings, I’m excited about the new opportunities we’re able to provide to HIT teams who are facing one of the most challenging years in recent memory.
